Team Invited from Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas

The Southern Junior Cup Matches are a Ryder Cup style match play event where four states meet to compete annually. Mississippi, Missouri, Alabama, and Arkansas have teams of 12 juniors (6 boys and 6 girls) that /square off in Four-Ball, Foursome, and Singles Matches. Four-Ball and Foursome matches are co-ed while the singles matches are male/male and female/female. All matches are worth 1 point and a halved match results in 1/2 a point for each side. Team Mississippi selections and invitations are based on current year Boys & Girls Junior Am Champion, Top 2 on Overall Points List, and 3 Captain picks.

Format: Four-Ball, Foursome, Singles Match Play
Teams by Invite Only

Team selected by Player of the Year Points. Top 3 players in each division along with a Captain's pick will recieve invitations. Should player's within the Top 3 on the POY Points List not be available to play the spots will then be filled with Captain's Picks.

Boys 12-13 - 4 Players
Boys 10-11 - 4 Players
Girls 13-18 - 4 Players

Refund Policy

If a player withdraws prior to the entry deadline he/ she will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administration fee deducted from the entry fee amount not including processing fee. If a player withdraws after the entry deadline has passed, the player will not receive a refund.

Mississippi Junior Golf Association Player's Creed


MJGA  Participants will play by the rules governing play set by the MJGA Tournament Committee. All Players are responsible for protecting the integrity of the game and the competitiveness of MJGA Tournaments. All players should leave the course in better shape when they leave, than when they arrived. Please be considerate of your fellow competitors and notify an MJGA Tournament Official before the conclusion of the Tournament of any questions according to the rules of play.
